AMES Medical Prosthetic Solutions, S.A.U. is a Spanish manufacturer based in Sant Feliu de Llobregat (Barcelona) with a production facility in Sant Vicenç dels Horts. The company is part of the AMES industrial group — a wholly Spanish-owned family company specialized in sintered metal components — and launched its biomedical division to apply its own porous titanium material, OsteoSinter®, manufactured through powder metallurgy, in surgery.
Its flagship products are the OsteoSinter® EVANS and COTTON porous titanium wedge implants, used for the correction of foot deformities. Since their commercial launch in 2021, more than 2,000 procedures have been performed in over 20 countries across three continents. AMES Medical holds CE marking (MDD 93/42/EEC) and ISO 13485:2016 certification.
